WE began our visit with a hayride out to one of the many pumpkin patches that this farm grows every year. We sat in a giant hay wagon while a tractor pulled us out through the fields of ripe, orange pumpkins. It was a bumpy ride.
Then the search for the perfect pumpkin began. Everyone in the family had a different idea of what their perfect pumpkin would look like. There were all diffrent shapes and sizes to choose from. Some were short & fat, some tall & thin and a few were lumpy & lopsided. 
The one criteria the children were given was that they had to be able to carry their own pumpkin back. Eventually everyone found the pumpkin that was just perfect for them.

Miss L likes her pumpkins tall and pear shaped!
Miss M Likes her pumpkins small and round!
Little Man likes his pumpkins little....just like him! But he liked watching that great, big tractor pull the hay wagon best of all. What could be more fun for a two year old.

Looks like you guys had fun! This weekend we are all getting together at Carol and David's for the Annual Pumpkin Carving Fest! So needless to say we will be visiting our local pumpkin patch again soon!
